Executive vice president of the Russian aluminium industry, Oleg Mukhamedshin, said in Wednesday that global aluminium supply shortages are expected to expand from 1.3 million tonnes this year to 1.7018 billion tonnes in 2018. Mukhamedshin said Rusal, the world's second-largest aluminium producer expects aluminum prices to remain at its current level, above $1,900  per tonne, in 2017.
