China's alumina output  in May 2017 ,was 5.7229 million tons, a year-on-year growth of 11.84%, but a fell 0.4%  compared with the same peroid in last year.As for the daily output, in May, China's alumina output was 84,600 tons, a decrease of 3.61%.compared with the same peroid in last year. 

At the beginning of May, the Central Environmental Protection Inspectorate(CEPI)  visited Shanxi Province, under the instruction of the CEPI  some alumina enterprises cut thies alumina outputs. In addition, in Henan, Guizhou and Shandong some alumina enterprises's outputs  were also reduced by market factors or environmental factors, resulting in a significant decline in the daily production of alumina in May.
