5052 aluminum plate is a commonly used aluminum-magnesium alloy series products. 5052is Al-Mg alloy. 5052 aluminum is of good corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, good cold workability is good, and moderate strength, 

Features of 5052 aluminum plate

1. Aluminum and magnesium are the main alloy element. Magnesium content is between 3-5%.

2.Heat treatment for strengthening is not acceptable.

3. Its density is small (5052 aluminum’s  density of 2.68).

4.Its strength is higher than 1000 series and 3000 series aluminum alloys.Its fatigue and welding performance is good. It is of high tensile strength high elongation.

5. Good resistance to marine atmospheric corrosion.

5052 aluminum plate is hot rolled aluminum series so can  deep processing of oxidation is acceptable.
