5005 Aluminum Plates

5005 aluminum alloy plate is of medium  strength like  3003 aluminum plate. 5005 aluminum alloy plate have good weldability, good workability . The color if anodic oxide film of 5005 aluminum plate is brighter than that of  3003 aluminum alloy plate.

Applications

5005 aluminum alloy  plates are  commonly used for conductor, cooking utensils, dashboard, shell and building decoration pieces,  interior and exterior materials of building construction, vehicle interior materials and so on.

5005 aluminum alloy  is a member of the 5000 series of aluminum-magnesium wrought alloys. As such, it is not used in casting. It can attain moderate to high strength by cold working, and has relatively high welded strength compared to other aluminum alloy families. Tempers H116 and H321 can be used in fresh and salt water.
