AA 6063 is an aluminium alloy, with magnesium and silicon as the alloying elements. It has generally good mechanical properties and is heat treatable and weldable. It is similar to the British aluminium alloy HE9.6063 is the most common alloy used for aluminium extrusion. It allows complex shapes to be formed with very smooth surfaces fit for anodizing and so is popular for visible architectural applications such as window frames, door frames, roofs, and sign frames. 

6063 aluminum strips/pates are  widely used in decoration, packaging, construction, transportation, electronics, aviation, aerospace, weapons and other industries.

1. In  aerospace industry, 6063 aluminum alloy is  mainly used  for  aircraft skin, body frame, beam, rotor, propeller, fuel tank, siding and landing gear pillars, as well as rocket forging ring, spacecraft wall panels.

2. In  transportation industry, 6063 aluminum alloy is widely used for  the automotive, subway vehicles, rail passenger cars, high-speed bus body structure materials, doors and windows, shelves, car engine parts, air conditioners, radiators, body panels, wheels and ship timber.

3. As for packaging  industry,it can be used for caps, bottles, barrels, packaging foil for packing beverages, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, cigarettes, industrial products and other  products.

4. In printing industry ,it  is mainly used as substrade  in  fabriaction of Polystyene Plate.

5. With good corrosion resistance, sufficient strength, excellent process performance and welding performance, 6063 aluminum alloy is widely used in building structures, doors and windows, ceiling, decorative surface and so on.

6. In electronic and home appliances industry, 6063 aluminum alloy is mainly used for a variety of busbar, wire, conductor, electrical components for refrigerators, air conditioners etc. Typical products are  6063 aluminum round bar amd falt bar.
